The main focus of 3 & 1 - Our emphasis lies on the planning of educational activities, the consultation and implementation of partner projects between German and Chinese schools and Universities. This includes school pupil and tertiary education student exchange projects as well as organised educational trips in the respective countries and international youth exchanges during the school or semester breaks. We also assist and advise German and Chinese pupils/students on choosing a suitable school or university in the respective foreign country. We give the pupil/student with individual guidance in the application process and provide support when applying for a visa and with the search for accommodation. The 3 & 1 team is familiar with the German and Chinese education system owing to personal experience and consequently has good contacts with various advanced technical colleges and universities. Future students from both countries will be able to profit from this.

Schüleraustausch Programm (PDF)A tour of Germany for a group of Chinese pupils in the context of a school-partnership: The Chinese pupils get to know their partner school and their families, and become familiar with the German education system as well as German towns and landscapes. They take part in German school classes for a few days and live with German host families. On other days they get to know Germany and neighbouring European countries. Visits to German universities are also included in the travel programme. In this way, future students intending to study in Germany get a personal impression of their new host country, whilst establishing long-term contacts and friendships. Return visits of German pupils to China are also envisaged.

Tour of China by a group of German pupils in the context of a German-Chinese youth exchange programme. German pupils get to know their Chinese host family and their classmates, and become familiar with the Chinese education system and the cities of Peking and Qingdao. They take part in Chinese school classes on some days and stay mainly with their Chinese host family. They visit the Chinese Wall in Peking and other tourist attractions, as well as a large brewery in Qindao, among other activities. University visits in both cities could complement the programme. In this way, future students intending to study in China get a personal impression of their new host country, whilst establishing long-term contacts and friendships. Return visits of Chinese pupils to Germany are also envisaged.
